Quick fixes
I bought credits but they haven't shown up
Stripe confirmation usually arrives in a few seconds. If they're still not showing 60 seconds after payment, refresh the page once. Still missing? Email us with your Stripe receipt and we'll add the credits manually.
A vehicle check returned nothing
Double-check the plate. The service queries DVLA, so if the car has been exported, scrapped, or the plate's been retired, it may not come back. Email us the plate and we'll tell you what's going on.
The market value looks off
Live listings are scraped from Auto Trader, Motors, and Gumtree. Rare cars or recent plates can have thin data; the system falls back to a model estimate which has wider error bars. Treat the number as a starting point, not gospel.
I want a refund
Unused credits: email us within 14 days and we'll refund them. A check that failed on our side: tell us the plate and the approximate time, we'll refund the credit (or the £4 HPI charge).
I want to delete my account
Email support@flipcaruk.com from your account address with "delete account" in the subject line. We'll wipe your account within 7 working days. Payment records have to be kept for 6 years for HMRC.
A feature suggestion or bug report
Send it. We read every one. Bugs get a fix or a workaround within a few days; feature requests get a yes / no / maybe and a rough timeline.
